A Time for Change

Fall brings many changes into our lives. Schools begin, ending long lazy or in our case busy days. Leaves begin their metamorphosis into brilliant colors, giving us their grand finale before winter ushers in. A sense of new beginnings hangs in the air. A new Church year, a new school year, and cooler nights with hot cups of tea and cocoa beckon us to come and reflect.

I've spent the day decluttering. A feeling of less is more continues to sweep through my mind. I am tired of the daily clutter around me, either in the form of busyness or in materials. Removing the habit of Facebook has been cathartic. More time each day, less of that feeling that I need to stay connected with outside sources more than the ones here with me. Less of a bombardment with ads, events, timelines. I choose not to live my life by the rush of time. And I choose not to live my life online.
